This is such a timely offering. I’m experiencing so many changes currently, in all aspects of my life. One thing I am doing is decluttering my home, and that equals decluttering my life because my home reflects my life as I have so far lived it. And I now understand that.
<3 I thankyou. Deeply.
That was awesome.

HERE’S TO SLOW GROWTH and lessons learned along the way!
This has been my favorite episode that I’ve watched so far!
Thanks!
That was a wonderful episode.
Setting clear boundaries that are in line with your own truth is something I agree with.
So inspirational.
If someday I got to know that my all the widest dreams came true then that day will be so good as well as shocking for me and after that, I’ll start dreaming something new with the hope of that would also come true. LOL 😀
Looking forward for new episode. 🙂
Wow, So inspirational!
I felt reminded of the power of persistence… and also how the more we dare to create beauty in our lives, it ripples out into the world tenfold!
So inspirational! Thank you.
I personally have journaled and it was very inspiring and it continued to help me grow
What an incredible interview
This was a gorgeous episode
The ONE HUGE thing that stuck out , was asking your higher self for clarity , and journaling …Im a big believer in listening to my higher self , and yes I def need some clarity ..My fear of Money , (of not having enough ) …hmm old thought patterns ? maybe ? ….Listening to this was encouraging and Invigorating …Lots of great take aways
This was SUCH a great episode, so many good reminders and so much inspiration to take action from.
Amazing story.
I love the idea of being comfortable with sucking and failing! Especially when you in the process of trusting your instincts on what to do for the business. I love the beautiful flowers, I want to be surrounded by that type of beauty all the time.
Very inspirational to hear & see how people make their way to success!
I gave up on my business idea 3 weeks ago when I had to return to a 40 hour week to clear off debts after 4.5 years of staying home and working on my idea. After watching this video and hearing that overnight successes are really 10 years in the making, it has inspired me to pick up the pieces and start again – still at least another 5.5 years to go before I surrender!
I sooooo needed to hear this on so many levels
Loved the episode! Boundaries are something I’ve struggled with. I don’t put them in place soon enough even though I know I should. Hearing about the power and peace Erin achieved by having boundaries in place from the beginning is inspiring. I’ll be listening and take action when the little voice tells me to set a boundary early.
Thank you for reminding me to check my journal and look at what I discovered through the process. Sometimes I need to be reminded. Thank you!
Thank you ladies for what you do and for who you are.
What a joyful conversation to be able to listen to! I love the passion, genuine excitement and honest thoughts shared between the two of you. This was a good investment of my time tuning into you!
BEST EPISODE EVER!
THANK YOU!!!!!
This episode speaks so clearly to a lot of things I have been learning lately. The asking your higher self for guidance; setting clear boundaries; the value of regenerative agriculature (kiss the ground). Love, Love, Love it all! Erin was so uplifting and inspiring. Heading over to her website right now!
Such an awesome story and episode!
Just loved this show. My biggest take is the journaling and let the inner voice come out because that voice does not have scarcity thinking in them.
I really enjoyed watching this! Thank you for all the insights and information and motivation. I loved hearing more about the beginnings of Floret Farms, and I’m now a fan of Marie as well :).
thank you I need to change things up. I realized I don’t want to change my business but I need to change how I do it. “Mind Blown”
Absolutely love the messages I received watching this interview. I am 61 years old and love ,love flowers. 🌺 When I was in my late 20s I wanted to plant a field of flowers. My ex husband did not like that idea at all. Lol. So I have continued with keeping it small. I so wish I was younger to do what Erin is doing. I feel like I missed my calling. Erin is doing exactly what I wanted to do when I was younger. She is so inspiring. In my heart I keep thinking there’s still more for me in this lifetime. There’s still something that I can do to be successful.
This was amazing!! Love loved loved it!
Such a timely reminder and inspiration! Everything you discussed echoed with a big YES! along with a sense of peace and truth. Everything, to even the same type of journaling that I have been leaning on since college. It has all paved my path throughout my life, and lately I have forgotten, and I have been swept up with what others tell me to do. This discussion is steering me back! So many thanks! You both are an inspiration, including how you live your life. ❤️ Btw, I am not typically a commenter on any platform – that’s how much I am moved and want to thank you!
So inspirational!
Hi
I visited your blog post. Wonderful
I am feeling so inspired by this interview. So many good things to learn. I am so emotional lately, so this may mean nothing but I am near tears thinking about how long I have been building my business and how many times I STILL want to give up and to be reminded that this is not an overnight success…ugh…I just keep going and going and going. Wow. Thank you for the inspiration!
Great episode! Very inspiring, got me all pumped up and ready for re-taking the B-school. Thank you for all the beautiful work you do and the wisdom you shared, ladies! Sunny greetings from Cyprus 🙂
The conversation strengthened my resolve to work from my heart’s wisdom and to trust the deep process even when my rational mind has no clue what to do.
Thank you for this episode. You are on fire and loving life. I start and stop and have a small foundation with so many dreams but I need to leave my job that is draining me of my creative spirit. I am afraid to leave for the fear of money issues. I want to rise above my fear for the life and energy I see you and Erin exude. Thank you for being a beacon on the rocky shores that happen.
I am grateful for all your amazing work,
Have a lovely rest of the week
This episode came to me in divine time. I cried when you mentioned “Believing mirrors” because I realized what’s bogged me down are those people that have served as the exact opposite of that (because I didn’t believe in me). I’m definitely at a burn out phase in my business, and feeling that “it can’t only be this” feeling Erin mentioned she had when making bouquets in her garage before signing up for BSchool. I think my biggest takeaways were to ask my higher self for guidance right now, and to go back and audit Bschool again. Thanks for this excellent episode. I’ve been admiring Erin’s business for years 💜
I own a cattle and goat farm. I’m now offering farm animal science camp after 10 years of running the farm. I love connecting children with the animals and soil. I know there is more God wants from me. Thank you for sharing how you fugure it out by listening.
This was so wonderful and just what I needed to hear today! 🙂 Thank you for this beautiful interview and the many wonderful soulful reminders! 🙂 xxx
This one hit home. Amazing and wonderful story. Thanks for sharing.
That was such a lovely episode 💕
Setting clear boundaries which are in alignment with your own truth. That’s definitely the most authentic way to develop a business.
So many good takeaways from this. It’s all figureoutable 🙂
The power of connection is so important, and from a neuroscience perspective we learn only when we fail so I love the reminder to suck and fail.
So important to remember that you do not need to be like everybody else!
This is such an inspirational message that a lot of people will benefit from hearing. Thanks for sharing these words of wisdom with all of us!
One of the most effective methods is to read these articles.
Hi Allison,
I’m so glad about this article! Thanks for it!

I am – An Entrepreneur, Writer, Philanthropist And An Unshakable Optimist …….
I am here not for the first time. I like to read your emails too. You are a very inspiring person.
Soon I will write about you in one of my articles.
It is nice to share with others the inspiration and motivation you have.
I’m so happy this article resonated with me. I know I’ve got this! Even something as small as me sharing my thoughts with you all on this article is a step towards overcoming my challenges. Thanks for this!
I thoroughly enjoyed this, thank you. I am definitely an introvert and putting myself out there is a challenge I have set for myself that I am actively working on. Besides this, my main takeaway is being true to yourself. This resonates with me and I just ‘feel’ that if I can find the balance of putting myself out there and being true to myself I will carve out a groove for myself. Feeling inspired, thanks again!
Hi Allison,
I’m so grateful for YOUR community!
-Monika
Thanks for this aricle! I think that the internet helps too and makes life easier for introverted entrepreneurs. I’m so grateful for all these communities of like-minded people!
Thank you for your good article!
Love this article and it came at just the right time! Focusing on my impact rather than myself is huge for me right now.
1) I assume entrepreneurs were focused on earning money from the time they were young.
2) I am really good at working on my own! I’ve heard entrepreneurship can be lonely, but in that sense, I think being introverted can be an advantage.

“Honour your energy”
Loved this. Need to work on it more and just be at peace and know that I don’t have “low energy” – my energy is exactly what I need and the world needs. I need to honour it and let it shine and be of use to others, however, that will show up.
Thanks so much, Allison and Empire Life. Loved it
This episode was such a great one for me to hear. I, too, am a bit of an introvert. But I also love to teach. I love the prep stage, the admin stage, AND being front and center as the teacher…BUT…then I need to be able to step down, go find a quiet corner, and recharge. This is the part people don’t get, lol. I often tell my kids “you need to stop talking now, I have heard too many words today”. Seriously, I say that several times a week, lol.
I definitely struggled when I started my business as I’m an introvert, but then found that offering coaching via email gave me a niche to work with other introverts and seemed to work just as well.
Honoring our Energy, thank you for this!
Allison, this article was so helpful to me and so happy about this! We appreciate you having this community.
This is in the top-3 of my favorite articles evee!
Introverts are cool people too.
Your story is so inspiring, Allison! Thanks so much for sharing.

I really thought that successful business people had all their stuff together, too, but I am finding out from experience that businesses sometimes need to be restructured and re-organized from time to time. Go figure!
This article resonated with me! Yes, we agree you have to start somewhere to learn and grow, so very well said. Kudos to you!
I feel like this was meant for me to hear today.
Some sage advice here – I especially love Angela’s “Honour Your Energy”. As an ambivert also (i suspect many of us actually are but the tests have to pick a side) trying to “follow” any extrovert’s or introvert’s behaviours, routines, or formulae always leaves me wanting, burned out, or feeling empty somehow. Finding the balance & listening to your own body is key. Particularly for women, whose natural cycles do not follow the same rules as men’s (who, let’s face it, wrote the rules) and who need to honour the energetic ebbs & flows in life.
I found this is very helpful content. I will definitely recommend my friends.
So happy to be here, enjoyed this one. Thanks for this!
I saw your blog, and even the content on it seems quite useful to me. Thank you very much for sharing this knowledge.

First of all, thank you for your beautiful and loving energy, Allison! Love that you are back!
Every small step is progress (even your comment)! We’re excited about what the future holds for you. Thanks for sharing!
Allison,
WOOO!! This is great to hear!
I’m so excited to understand Empire Life, this is coming out at the perfect time.
I have a book project, it should have been finished 8 years ago. The main idea is clear, the first chapter is done…
Hi Allison!
Wow, I recognize quite a bit from what you wrote…
So cool to read though, that you’re already working on your sustainability consulting business right now!
Yes, yes, and YES! Make time to fulfill your dreams friend!
Very interesting!
I’m already working on my big project, my sustainability consulting business, which btw Allison’s & book has been a huge support in bringing to life, but I find myself torn in the conflict of working on the business and right now applying for jobs in the industry as well since my business is not making me enough money yet. It can be incredibly draining. I go back and forth on what’s the best thing to do. Going from feeling a surge of energy working on the business, to feeling like I just need to put it on hold or pause completely and just focus on gaining more experience (which I know Allison had to do at some point as well).
For the last year, my heart kept saying to build the business, and I’ve noticed in my journaling now (using Allison’ss exercises) that finding a steady job with income is coming up more frequently and strongly. That in itself is a challenge given I don’t have a Masters’s degree in the field yet, which is often required. I’m also nearing the point financially where it’s an absolute must.
I love this, and I have one big “BUT” I bet Allison is already hearing in her mind (as she does) 🙂 … which is about needing to make a living while building that project.
We’re so excited to have you dive into the content as well! We’ll see you soon in Empire life land!
Nice!
I needed this one.
Thanks you guys, this is a great list!
So excited–and cannot wait to dive into the Empire life courses!!! And I’m pretty sure my heart just got bigger knowing that Allison is back!!! <3
“What’s one dream, experience, or project you would pursue if you had the time and energy to accomplish it?”
Create “Beach Days” Reflection Journal.
This is a “love” project that I’ve thought quite a bit about BUT not actually done. I’d like to get done by end of the year. 🙂
~Sami
I’m with you!
I’ve spent enough time thinking. Now it’s time to DO!
~Darlene
Lavia here from Ukraine, thanks you guys!
This was super helpful.
Fabulous Empire Life, will share this out!
I’m currently a design/architecture student who’s doing both schools and work full-time. Not to mention, I try to be there for the people in my life as well! My dream is to open up my own studio one day that not only uses design as a tool to help uplift people but helps educate people as well. I want to start RIGHT AWAY
I would like to paint or at least work in my studio every day. I need to be able to prioritize the painting and the finishing of them and the admin things too. I’m feeling overwhelmed so I’m only just doing a little bit of painting and not really moving along well.
I can’t wait to complete my clinician license this year for future plans to become a traveling therapist. My practice would be trauma-focused with somatic processing to help others process their trauma and release them of their suffering.
This sounds like an incredibly awesome and inspirational dream! Thank you for sharing.
My biggest dream is to create a thriving nutrition coaching business to help Latinos especially those in underprivileged communities.
It’s never a bad reminder that progress won’t happen if you don’t know what it looks like (clarity) and a deadline (time-bound SMART goal). I also love calendar blocking — it definitely helps me to batch things [like you’ve done by shifting your morning routine]. Clarity + Prioritising (batching included) + Deadline = Success 🙂
So excited to see how this new programme works ^_^
I think making it time-bound really helps. I get overwhelmed really easily when there is no end in sight.
Great post, keep posting.

Hi Allison, you’re absolutely right! Creating a plan for circumstantial obstacles is just as important as mental ones. We know you can do this!

-Amy
Thanks for sharing your feedback.
-Mary
I am capable of doing all the steps and understand how to do them and even have done them in the past!
We’ve been there too – stuck between what will be good for us and not feeling excited. Is there a way you can keep your body active in a way that would be fun and exciting?
Amen, I’m 100% with you on this! 🙌 I factor in my cycle & moods to planning and routines also.
Hi Allison,
Fantastic! Small steps lead to big results. Thanks for sharing your feedback with our community.
-Antoinette
I was just asking myself exactly the same the other day.
I struggle with this so much!
Thanks so much for this article.
Hi Allison,
Wahooo! Yes, Yes, and YES! Your habit for you sounds wonderful
Hi Allison – I love this line — “I also want to acknowledge the concept of knowing I can do anything, even if I’m not capable of it yet.”. It’s such an empowering reminder that we’re capable of anything we set our focus on. Thanks so much for sharing!
Yesterday I was so focused on this same concern shared here in the article. What I was reminded of in this article was to maintain focus on who my intentions are really for, and that is who I am in service to.
That’s right! No need to change ourselves to be successful (especially when we also get to define what success means in our own lives individually). This article is a fantastic reminder, and we’re so glad you found this as empowering as we did. All the best!
I got teary eye while reading this, thank you!
Wow, This is a great article. A big thanks’ to to you. 🙂
‘I can do it maybe not today but I can do it’
Amazing. I think I will leave the link to this episode on my blog in the future. So important.
Thank you.
Wahoo!
This is such a brilliant article!! I can so relate to this article!
I am here not for the first time. I like to read your emails. You are a very inspiring person.
Soon I will write about you in one of my articles.
It is nice to share with others the inspiration and motivation you have.
I thoroughly enjoyed this, thank you. I am definitely an introvert and putting myself out there is a challenge I have set for myself that I am actively working on. Besides this, my main take away is being true to yourself. This resonates with me and I just ‘feel’ that if I can find the balance of putting myself out there and being true to myself I will carve out a groove for myself. Feeling inspired, thanks again!
Thanks for this episode! I think that the internet helps too and makes life easier for introverted entrepreneurs. I’m so grateful for all these communities of like-minded people!
Thank you for your good article!
Yesterday I was so focused on this same concern Tamara shared. What I was reminded of in this video was to maintain focus on who my intentions are really for, and that is who I am in service to.
I have the innate skills to succeed but I keep searching for people to compare myself to, and therefore I inevitably find areas where I fall short compared to others’ successes. I am perfect just the way I am, which is exactly what I would tell the people I serve, but I so often forget to be my own cheerleader.
Thank you I need to change things up. I realized I don’t want to change my business but I need to change how I do it. “Mind Blown”
Absolutely love this article!
Absolutely love this article I received this!
What an inspiring – and honest – conversation. Allison asks great questions. Empire Life mentorship is so worth it! Thanks for sharing, Allison!
This was amazing!! Love loved it!
I appreciate your presence AND article, Allison. I’m so glad this episode moved me in the way that it did!
Your style is really unique compared to
other folks, I have read stuff from.
Many thanks for posting when you’ve got the opportunity,
Guess I’ll just bookmark this blog.
Such a timely reminder and inspiration! Everything you discussed echoed with a big YES! along with a sense of peace and truth. Everything, to even the same type of journaling that I have been leaning on since college. It has all paved my path throughout my life, and lately, I have forgotten, and I have been swept up with what others tell me to do. This discussion is steering me back! So many thanks! You are an inspiration, including how you live your life. ❤️ Btw, I am not typically a commenter on any platform – that’s how much I am moved, and want to thank you!
So inspirational!
Hi,
I visited your blog post. Wonderful!
I’ve been sitting on the fence for too long I’m getting splinters in my trunk! What holds me back, too multi-faceted? Which one do I concentrate on or incorporate them all? Don’t know how much Empire Life mentorship is but I will take the plunge. There is so much I could divulge here but I’m going to leave it at that. Now, I must face the cost of the school and live with intention!
I am feeling so inspired by this article.
I have followed Allison and Empire Life for a while. But always felt unworthy about making my business work. Covid gave me the “out” to think about what I want I want out of my business and that I am worthy to dive into the Empire Life Course that I paid for a couple of years ago and didn’t complete!!! I just finished Allion’s book and I am grateful for her honesty and drive! I am ready to jump back into life and Empire Life mentorship and see where I should be going! Thank you!
Christine
Great episode! Very inspiring, got me all pumped up and ready for Empire Life’s online courses. Thank you for all the beautiful work you do and the wisdom you shared, ladies! Sunny greetings from Cyprus 🙂!
Loved this article! I took Empire Life’s online course this year and it was the best investment I could make for my business.
I’m sending you so much love and appreciation, Empire Life. Thank you for your generous and kind article- and for being in this beautiful community. I’m so glad I found you all here! – Kim
Such a joyful article that hit home on soo many levels! I can’t tell you how often it happens that I come here to this blog and it hits home!
Thank you Empire Life Team 😊
Will do all of these, thank you for this article!
Trust in that voice within. We’re cheering you on Empire Life. xo- Heather
Thank you for this article. You are on fire and loving life. I start and stop and have a small foundation with so many dreams but I need to leave the job that is draining me of my creative spirit.
Allison, the lifetime access you have can serve you, your business, and your goals over and over again. – Heather
This article came to me in divine time. I cried and also shared this with everyone I know.
Thank you, Allison and Empire Life Team. I agree if you commit to Empire Life courses and mentorship, do all the work than you’ll succeed.
This was so wonderful and just what I needed to hear today! 🙂 Thank you for this beautiful article and the many wonderful soulful reminders! 🙂 xxx
This one hit home. Amazing and wonderful story. Thanks for sharing.
That was such a lovely blog article! 💕
This is in alignment with my own truth. That’s definitely the most authentic way to develop a business.
And I loved this, thanks Allison 🙏.
Thank you Allison & Empire Life team.
This is such an inspirational message that a lot of people will benefit from hearing. Thanks for sharing these words of wisdom with all of us!
One of the most effective methods to check usability is to use
actual people.
So many good takeaways from this.
What a flourishing article, thank you!
This is a great approach. 🙂
That was beautifully writen, thank you!
Thank you, Empire Life. I’ll check this out!
I’ m struggling for a while now with the right approach to solve my social issues. On the one hand, I feel lonely sometimes and I don’t know enough people, on the other hand reaching out to people is difficult for me since I’m slightly autistic. So sometimes I think I need to try harder to build connections, other times I think that I just have to let go, do my thing and see what it leads to.
I’m reading stoicism now (I like it), I tried mindfulness, I’ve also had therapy and coaching, but I still don’t have the answer. If anyone can point me in good direction to figure it out, I’d like to hear it.
This is great! Kindest Regards, Catalina
Yes ~ Yes ~ Yes !!! Feeling Very Fortunate to have seen this!
I’ve been working on fear vs love. I gave a talk to my meditation group on that topic Sunday. Our intention, as opposed to out-tensions, was very clear. Powerful and juicy thank you for helping me become emotionally aware❣️
twinkle-eyed and wonderful. Thank you so much!
Thinking about life this morning and why I was procrastinating again, I said out loud to my wardrobe “It’s safe to say I didn’t give it my all, haven’t made the very most of my life.”
I love how much I enjoyed this article, W.
There were so many seeds of wisdom in this article.
Incredible! I love Empire Life!
I’m always inspired to hear more people talking about emotional awareness and intention.
This is definitely inspiring me.
Having said all of that, I do make my life as fun as I can, and it starts with the conscious choice to buck my childhood conditioning and quieting the internalized shaming voices, to do so. For me, music, learning new things, and nature are what bring me the most happiness, so I try to include at least one of those in my life at all times as a baseline foundation for happiness. It’s a remarkably simple solution once you can identify your own personal ‘happiness triggers’! 🌝
I’ll be adding the “When’s the party?” line to my toolkit too, starting today! 🎉🎊
Thanks again Allison for role-modeling joy, light, and creativity – and best of luck Allison in your happiness journey too. There’s many of us walking that path alongside you 😊🙏💕
This is timely as I just downloaded a book on this topic – Empire Life’s book, ‘Redefine’. (I have only read to the intro and taken a quick squizz of the book preview!).
Thank you, Allison and Empire Life team, for everything you do and for all the wonderful life-improving content you provide. 😘 🥰
You have no idea how much your help has meant. Thank you, Allison.
that seems to be my “Go-To” fun music for some reason. This isn’t important because I know how it makes me feel. I know I’m achieving my goal when my husband walked into my office, ABBA blaring out of my speakers, and he says, “ABBA? Seriously?”
My work here is done! LOL!
Tea
O, my goodness, Allison, you are speaking directly to me in this article.
Thank you! Just had the idea for T-shirts-More Fun in 2021!
I’m launching Fun Party’s at work for employees. Just had the idea but I’ll tie in the T-shirt and weekly things of fun for everyone. Maybe it will become contagious, maybe dare I say, a pandemic of fun! You just made me realize that I love my work and I find joy in it daily-but maybe others don’t. I’m going to try to bring the fun so others maybe can find their joy too! Thank you Leona for your question-exactly what I needed to think about!
! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I needed this more than I realized. This is something I think about often but hasn’t made a daily practice of – until now!
And I so appreciate your addition of a full day off each month. To just play. Brilliant!!!
As a small business owner, I also appreciate Allison’s story about her family making her work. Amen. That will be part of my practice, too.
Hi Empire Life,
This is Tedtra and thanks for answering my questions about support in covid! I love your suggestions 🙂
I practice mindfulness daily, and now it’s time for a daily practice of playfulness as well. Will be bringing at least one party a day into my life.
Will also make sure I take a full day off each month to do something totally frivolous and fun: picnic on the beach, full-day craft project, movie marathon with friends…
Looking forward to tons more fun in 2021!
I feel that way, too, sometimes. Way to call it out in a productive way to serve those of us who have had similar experiences.
And thanks, Allison, for a great A!
I started out with negative equity, zero safety net, and no support network. I couldn’t quit jobs I didn’t like, I was ‘lucky to have a job in an area of the country with 19% unemployment. Growing up I couldn’t risk being caught reading books or I’d be punished with yet more chores; my sister and I were regularly hit for laughing to keep us under authoritarian control – having fun was a punishable offense. Fun was not a choice as there was too much fear attached to it. We weren’t allowed to listen to music, let alone dance to it. It took estranging my family except for my one sister (the other one being hit) and financial independence after decades of slogging, hard work before I could relax and really enjoy myself. I think there’s a lot of luck involved in being in a position to ‘add a fun’ as, despite all my endeavors, without a little luck thrown in I wouldn’t be in the fortunate position I am now.
Amen. Just bought the book, Redefine.
Such an insightful and helpful answer to (yet another) insightful and helpful article.
Keep shining ♥️
Thank you for offering this support Empire Life!
Amazing!
God’s timing woman! My first book is with my editor right now, and I’ve already outlined book No 2
Keeping the faith and developing that muscle of faith and perseverance that does not come from external validation!
Being an Empath, I have helped a lot of people by talking to them along the way, sometimes purely by chance meetings, but as for becoming a published author, im stuck! I would love to become a motivational speaker too, but I need to tell my story, it’s my soul purpose, to help others, its been with me since childhood, not recognised until adulthood and no matter how hard I try, I am not winning, and resist the urge to write anymore. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Much love. Carole xoxo
Great wake-up advice! I started to write a book, and now it’s on my bookshelf, unfinished. I’m making time right now, schedule in my calendar and carry on! Better a book out that one unfinished on my drawer!
Thanks so much! I took notes for every single writer on the video!
This was amazing, thanks Empire Life!
One of my favourites, this was amazing, thanks to Team Empire Life!
Wow. I didn’t even know I needed it.
Thank you.
Incredible as usual!!!
Wonderful article. Amazing company!
Great work, well done!
An amazing article, Allison. Allison’s ability to describe her story, her feelings, makes her incredibly relatable to everyone. Thank you for guiding her through the process and showing us all that vulnerability, strength of character, and focus can make us all better humans. Love your book, Redefine too!
Thank you, we are all rising together!
A very inspirational human being, Allison. This prime example that you can always achieve your goals just doesn’t give up. 🙂
Wow, thanks, super appreciate this and thanks for being here!
Okay, the point on consistency has finally gotten through to me with this video. Empire Life clearly takes this VERY seriously.
Awesome, and yes we do, we will keep showing up!
This article is a big inspiration to everybody. That no matter where you came from you can always achieve your dreams and goals in life.
awesome!
where do I learn his “specific, 10 min process” to creating content?
technologically ignorant, but willing to learn:)
jb
So good, learned a lot! Thank you for this insightful article ~
Thank you Empire Life for a powerful and evocative article, filled with rich stories and actionable ideas.
My key takeaway is to layer in habits to show up for myself, my family, and my clients and audience in more CONSISTENT and disciplined ways over time – and I loved the reminder that, as Martha Beck puts it, “the way to heaven IS heaven” (enjoy the PROCESS!).
I’m excited to prioritize dedicated time for my most important DEEP work M-F every day! Thanks again to both of you.
Loved this and needed the encouragement! Thank you! One of the biggest habits I’ve used to shift my identity around health is running up the stairs in my apartment building. There are 12 floors, and during the pandemic, I couldn’t get to the gym so I just started doing like five laps up the fire escape in our building, so I get up to like 60 flights of stairs. It feels soooo good for my mental health.
If I’ve gotta get a workout I always find a way to make it happen.
It might be that humility is my favorite quality in a human. I quite enjoyed this aticle — thank you
OMG such a great article! So many golden nuggets of truth in here. I love the idea of doing something you don’t feel like you are. Such a powerful thought! Bravo, this was soooo good!!
I loved this! This is so inspiring. I just ordered your book and can’t wait to read it! 🙂
What shiny, NEW identity do you choose instead? I’ve got a lot of life left to live. A career does not define me – I know so many people with big “careers” that are not happy. It’s more important to find a space that allows me to feel fulfilled but it doesn’t have to be a big grand thing. My perspective has shifted – now if only I could make a decision 😉
I loved this article and this story and was inspired by this story. Helping people shift their identity is the basis of profound coaching and such important work that we do in the world as coaches. Thank you for the conversation!
Charming article and a great story. My greatest personal take-way: that it is okay to feel out-of-character for a while when training for or trying to achieve a new goal.
OMG…my EGO! I ask for feedback and then think to myself, no that’s not me, that wasn’t helpful. I so need to SEE and turn off the ego to gracefully accept the feedback and work with it. BAM! Thank you, Allison!
You are the only one who can define or manage your happiness or enjoyment. It is up to you to choose pleasure and contentment over suffering at any given time. It isn’t something that just happens. Instead, it is the outcome of everything we do, and it is, at the end of the day, a choice we make every day. Other great advice Allison. 🙂
As we grown-up, we have every right to enjoy ourselves to have fun. Indeed, adults need play. George Bernard Shaw once said, “We don’t quit playing since we develop old; we develop old since we quit playing.”
I always like your ideas. Will look at that book you mentioned 🙂
Staying in the house can quickly start to feel repetitive or ordinary. When you find productive activities to do at home and you’re purposeful with your time, you’ll be surprised at what you can accomplish!
Your ideas were pretty good. I will try to do these things.
Thank you for this wonderful post! Have lots of fun today!
Yes, I agree that we should also enjoy our life if we are stressed. For me every weekend after working for 5 days I take my bike drive to a different city. In that way, I release my stress from work and also enjoy the beautiful scenery. 🙂

Loved this article! I’ve definitely been missing some fun in my life and have been so stressed recently. I do keep trying to turn some music on more frequently while I’m doing things because it always helps when I have something to sing along to. I’m gonna try to do this more often. I think I’ll also start using the “party” approach for more things, especially if my 3-year-old is involved! I think this will really help him do whatever it is we need to move to easier than he might already be doing.
It’s the perfect time to make some plans for the long run and it is time to be happy.
